The digital files made available by Documenta/Film constitute proprietary archival assets created through professional digitization, preservation processes, technical processing, and curatorial research.
Access to and use of these digital master files is granted exclusively through a licensing agreement.
The public domain status of an original film element does not grant unrestricted access to the archive’s digitized master files, restoration work, metadata structure, or curated presentation.
Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, duplication, extraction, scraping, or commercial exploitation of the archive’s digital files is strictly prohibited.
